ice Bucket Challenge' co-founder Anthony Senerchia dies after ALS battle
The ALS Association says a man credited as
one of the fellow benefactors of the viral "Ice Bucket Challenge" that
cleared web-based social networking in 2014 has kicked the bucket after a
yearslong fight with the condition known as Lou Gerhig's malady. Anthony
Senerchia was 46.
The Anthony Senerchia Jr ALS Charitable Foundation
site says the Pelham, New York, local passed on early Saturday.
In a video discharged by the ALS
Association, Senerchia's significant other, Jeanette, talks about how she
helped dispatch the test by dumping a can of frigid water on herself in 2014
and presenting the video on Facebook.
The test truly took off when it achieved
companions of Pete Frates, a previous baseball star at Boston College who was
additionally battling ALS.
