Trump threatens China with additional $100bn tariffs


US President Donald Trump has tightened up the exchange war talk with China, saying he was thinking about an extra $100 billion in duties on the nation, the media revealed.

"In light of China's out of line striking back, I have trained the US Trade Representative (USTR) to consider whether $100 billion of extra levies would be fitting," CNN cited the President as saying in an announcement late Thursday.

"As opposed to cure its unfortunate behavior, China has hurt our ranchers and producers," Trump's announcement said.

The President added that he taught to the USTR likewise to "recognize the items whereupon to force" the extra.Read More
